Upcoming Hiatus
Dear viewers,
You may have noticed it's been a while since I've posted anything. RL has got very busy for me with a new work project I've taken on, which means I have to travel away from home (and my computer) and I'm working very long hours. This work project will continue for the next few months. So rather than 'disappear' again, I wanted to let everyone know that I will be back with more Pleasantview and other videos late in 2018 or early in 2019. Unfortunately, I am unable to keep up with weekly videos right now, but hope to return to it in the future. Don't panic... Pleasantview Season Three will get it's finale eventually :)

I don't think Pleasantview will ever get completed. At least we got to see a small part of episode 3.12 in the Noticeboard.
ReplyDeleteHey, just thought you should know there's someone called Bigmouth on YT doing a Pleasantview Sims2 series that's remarkably similar to yours. So much so I can only assume it's been heavily inspired by yours (only real differences I can distinguish are that Lilith and Dustin never got together, and Nina and Daniel have never really met, let alone had an emotional fling of sorts. And Malcolm Landgraab doesn't seem to be involved in organised crime, at least not yet). Anyway, they've already gotten pretty far into the series -- the Pleasant twins are in college, Lucy Burb and Alex Goth are teenagers, etc -- and it's playing out in a lot of the same ways I can imagine your own Pleasantview series playing out in the future. So...idk if or when you're gonna finish this series, and I'm not sure how much each of these stories is based on Sims canon (I haven't researched much on this) or personal creativity, and that's why they're coming across so similar. I really love your series and have been following it a long time, but the newer one is pretty decent too, and I'm not sure if you may want to take a look, just to make sure there ARE no issues re: plagiarism now, or that may arise in the future?

ReplyDeletehey, i hope you're doing well wherever you are. you're my favorite sims youtuber ever and i admire your creativity. i hope the series is finished one day. i'm still waiting years later.. its 2023 now. i hope everythings ok and nothing happend to you and you just quit social media or something. i doubt you will ever read this but i just want you to know that you have an immense amount of people still waiting for 3.12!! crazy after all these years you still have a huge fanbase. i just wanted to let you know that i fully support you even if you never come back
